The LIGHT HAUS tiny house is a fully customized tiny house we designed for a couple – she is 5’0″ and he is 6’4″ tall. The design provides height clearance of 6’6″ below the loft, and 4’6″ above the loft. This compact home even provides a special door to the outside for their cat! The signature element of this new design is the clerestory windows bathing the interior with natural light. We think it’s appropriate to call this home the LIGHT HAUS tiny house.

I was honored to be able to design Anna and Kevin's tiny house that they always dreamed of. It was a challenge - to house a very tall man (6'3), to provide two full-time office spaces, a full-size kitchen and a spacious bathroom for two - all on a 24' trailer. But I believe the more design constraints you have, the more creative you become.
It has been more than a year since Anna and Kevin have lived in their tiny home. They have left their corporate job and living life with freedom to do what they love. Anna has been praising the life of simple living and has encouraged her friend to take a tour of my tiny house. Today, we will be circling back from years ago, showing her friend the virtues of living tiny.
-Vina LustadoWe've been loving our home ever since. The light that comes in really opens up the area. People who walk in for the first time are surprised by how much space is inside. They were preparing for a shoebox!
